Area Meets

The club holds a monthly meeting. These are held at the Jolly Farmer’s pub,

Norwich Road, Forncett St Peter, Norwich. NR16 1LG

This is normally the second Sunday of each month from March through to November inclusive.
Members start arriving from10.00; we spend some time outside talking and looking at the cars present.
At 12 we enter the pub and take our place in a pre-booked room.
I will then hold a short meeting.

At these meetings I discuss the events available to us to attend over the next season.

Food is available at the venue, but if you wish to eat I need to know in advance (before the Friday) so I can book you a seat. This is purely to book your seat, your food can be ordered on the day.

During the busy show season some meeting dates may be changed to alternative dates, so please check the clubs Latest News section before travelling.

The East Anglian Kit Car Club was formed in October 2007 by a group of kit car enthusiasts. A lot of us had previously owned Robin Hoods and had been members of the Robin Hood owners club. I took over running the East Anglian section of the Robin Hood owners club in 2003. Over the years a lot of us traded in our Robin Hoods for Other makes of kits. It was suggested to me on several occasions that if I were to form a kit car club for all makes, I would get a lot more members. When I eventually did this the members list almost tripled over night.

The club continues to shrive, with a large variety of car makes and models.

We have attended meetings at several Venues over the last few years.

Firstly we were at the Park Hotel in Diss, We out grow this venue and moved on to the Scole inn, we left this venue and moved on to the Crown Inn at Pulham Market, unfortunately this venue closed and we moved to our next venue, the Old Ram at Tivetshall.

Our meetings are now held at the Jolly Farmer’s pub, Norwich Road, Forncett St Peter, Norwich. NR16 1LG

Monthly Attendance

The clubs monthly attendance is very impressive; the largest attendance of kit cars was 32 cars on the 10th May 2010. The least being 4 Kit Cars on March 2013, this was due to heavy show the night before the meeting. The average attendance is 15 kit Cars.

Members also attend in their normal cars, so meeting are normally well attended.

Latest meeting report

I write an Area meeting report after each meeting, this outlines the subjects discussed at the meeting.

Most discussed would be Shows we plan to attend over the season.

These write ups are added to the club website on the Sunday evening or on the Monday following the meeting
